Rumor: Divas Championship and Divas Division Being Rebranded Tonight at Wrestlemania

A few days ago, it was revealed that WWE is planning to rebrand the Divas division and transition it into the Women’s division over Wrestlemania weekend or the following night on Monday Night Raw. This “rebranding” will also include a new Women’s Championship belt with a similar design to the WWE World title.

It’s a fantastic idea, especially considering the triple threat match tonight between Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks is going to be a historic match. This change and adding this dimension to the match makes it even more historic and special.

While the change was expected to take place tomorrow night on Monday Night Raw, there is a rumor going around that the rebranding could happen tonight.

According to Wrestlezone.com, the reason to debut the rebranding tonight is because both the WWE World Champion and Divas Champion are scheduled to appear on NBC’s “The Today Show” tomorrow morning. It’ll be much more publicity for Raw and that could be part of the “surprise” Sasha Banks was talking about yesterday.
